The CRP is overseen by Christopher Freeman LPC, LCADC, TCNJ’s dedicated Community Recovery Supervisor. Chris has over 15 years of counseling and supervisory experience working in diverse clinical settings. He is dedicated to the idea that students in recovery do not have to let their history of addiction define them but can go on to great accomplishments.
Collegiate Recovery Program
The College of New Jersey’s Collegiate Recovery Program (CRP) provides comprehensive supports to students in recovery from alcohol and/or other drugs. Through TCNJ’s Collegiate Recovery Program we offer Lion’s House, RECreate Your Night, and counseling services. See their website or contact Chris Freeman for more information.

If you are seeking help of any nature, please contact Mental Health Services (MHS) (previously CAPS) at 609.771.2247 and speak with the receptionist. They will do everything possible to respond promptly and/or involve other resources as needed. For emergencies after hours, contact the Helene Fuld Crisis Outreach Center at (609) 396-6834, Campus Police at 9-1-1, and/or Residence Life staff.
